After the Solar Wars almost nothing was left....

Empires demolished, cultures destroyed, the Legion scattered across the void as a shadow of it's former self. All that remains is the 3TR-N5 station, Eternus.

Looming in the middle of the space, an impossible structure built of rings within rings, constantly shifting, whirring, and changing. Surrounded by the inky blackness of space and the vast ruins from generations of a war that slowly whimpered out. For decades now Eternus has survived on the salvage of bygone eras, small outlying colonies, and asteroid mines along with the sweat, toil, and blood of Drifters, those desperate few willing to leave the safety of the rings and go... Through the Void.

Through The Void is a minimalist OSR (Old School Renaissance) inspired RPG for 1-7 players by Tony Vasinda and the Plus One Team. The core rules of the game fit on 1 sheet of paper. Explore abandoned asteroid mines, hulking relics of the solar wars, and lunar labs. Through The Void provides the characters sheets, rules, and procedures you need to build thrilling space adventures and all you need are pencils, dice, and a few hours with your friends.

I know I'm a bit late in finding this but have you considered creating a roll20 for your ttrpg?

I m a bit late in responding! I hate VTTs, BUT! I love accessibility that they provide and I would love to work with a partner on this who actually get's the niche.

Hi, its possible to have a community copies?

YEAH! Thanks for asking. I didn't realized they were out!

We're having trouble understandin "LVL". It says add LVL to all rolls but there's no space for it on the sheet. Is it just 1 for everyone?

The LVL in a given specialty is the LVL it's referring to. So if you have 2 LVLs in Merc you would add +2 to Merc related rolls.

I ran this at RFT Con last summer. Learned that it's possible to have a game where the players do all the dice rolling; GM adjudicates, adds detail, and asks the players to embellish. And it's hard for me to do that, but I (sorta) succeeded.

Need to get some folks together and take another swing at it.

(Posted belatedly - nudged to action by the MapCrow birthday challenge)

I missed this one! I'm not a dice cop, and sometimes I like to do a secret roll to. When it comes to the lorebuilding questions that's the most common one. People need to do what is best for their table and brain! It plays just as well either way.

I love having the brain space freed up to just run the game with no rolls, but it takes a bit of brain training.

And WOOT! MapCrow!

Am I correct in thinking that if I buy the game at the $7 level I get a physical copy of it? Just wanted to confirm before buying!

Sorry for the delay! Took the weekend off.
Unfortunately, that is not correct! The price above is just for the digital version.
We will link to the 32 page physical ashcan up this week if you want to purchase it.

Is there a deadline for the campaign or it's until the goal is reached?

End of the month (Jan 31st) but we will keep on developing it behind the scenes. Itchfunding isn't all or nothing so It'll just get better as we go until we release the full game.

I guess there's a mistake in the hits section of the character sheet, it names "Mech" as one of the specialities. That should probably be Merc?

GOOD Catch! I knew there was a typo I had lost track of the other day but couldn't find it!
